Good News

Tim was accepted to Berklee!!! Just got a text message from Mary. Details later. Congrats, Tim.

Had a full day and loved every minute of it. The iris got planted and the sirloin burgers were delicious. So was the company. Got to see Tim in a suit and tie.... handsome! Went home; took a nap and off to Austin's game. Bruce took over 700 pictures so I'm sure you all will be seeing some soon. Austin hit a powerful double plus a lot of other good plays. His team won 8 to 3. Yea!! Go Austin!!! Emma entertained me when I wasn't watching the game by taking things out of my purse, then going to Bruce and handing them to him. Afterward, we went to the Yellow Basket for dinner. Oh, Robert and Cheryl were there too. Cheryl still sounds congested but looks good. She said 3 week and 2 days till Eden makes here appearance. Another Oops. Post from the other day should read Yukada not Yumada nor Toyota, right Annie? Going to Mary and Tim's Saturday morning to plant Iris and a Calla Lily and have burgers for lunch. Austin has a baseball game at 4pm. Bruce is going for sure and we'll see if I'm up to it. I love to watch Austin because...well he's my favorite grandson and I love him. <3

Nothing new. Quiet day at home and Bible Study tonight. Good friends, good lemon cake. <3

That's Japanese for thank you. I have no idea how to spell it. Annie, thanks for my Yumada (sounds like it should be a car brand LOL). It's so pretty, I leave it hanging on our bedroom door. I smile every time I see it. You're a great Sis, <3

Bruce & I had a nice quiet Easter. Our friend, Shirley, took us to Claim Jumpers for lunch. There was so much left over we had our dinner taken care of too. After lunch, we drove to Gavillan Ranch and enjoyed the fields of poppies and other wildflowers. I managed to twist my ankle so spent the rest of the day napping with my foot up.
I'll forewarn you all now. My style will be more like post-it notes. Bruce, Annie, Heather and now Cheryl are the pros. But every so often I'll write something for you to read. Bye for now. I'm going to see if I can download some pictures from a thumbdrive(?), <3
